Life isn't fair! Just ask Bugs Potter. Its summer vacation, and all he really wants to do for the summer is play his drums and attend rock concerts across the country. That isn't too much to ask, is it?

But Bugs' folks are determined to spend the summer roughing it at Camp Nickaninny, and they want Bugs with them. There will be no electricity, no music, and NO DRUMS. The trip is an utter nightmare, with obnoxious neighbors, bad food, and huge crowds at the supposedly quiet park.

Determined the summer not be a total waste, Bugs ‘borrows' some camping equipment from his family and begins to build himself a rough-but-useable drum set, and starts practicing in a cave. But Bugs will soon learn he isn't the only one with an interest in his cave. And the summer will be a lot more interesting than he expected.
