    • Hi Mr Korman. Really enjoyed the Slacker novel and curious if there would possibly be a sequel, considering the current Israel-Palestine war. Wouldn't be surprised if this ever happened though, it is a very controversial topic.

    Hi, Jaiden,

    Thanks for posting.

There already is a sequel to SLACKER. It's called LEVEL 13: A SLACKER NOVEL. It was published in July of 2020, so it should still be available in bookstores and libraries. I hope you can get a copy. Laughs guaranteed.

                                          Thanks again, Jaiden.                                                 -----Gordon Korman-----

That helps, Jaiden! I was wondering what happened in SLACKER that might be controversial! Whew!

As for LINKED, it is completely unrelated to the present war that is raging in the Middle East. Plus the details of the Holocaust are a matter of historical record. At any rate, I don't think the book calls for a sequel. There really isn't much more to say on the subject or the motivations of the characters involved. We can assume that Lincoln honored his Grandmother, which was his main object, and will likely go back to his normal life, perhaps a little wiser on the topic of who he is.

A lot of people considered LINKED an important book, and I'm glad you and so many others enjoyed it.
