Thanks for posting. I’ll try to answer your questions.

1. Writing is my chosen profession. I chose it because I enjoy the work, have no trouble coming up with ideas, and I had some early (grade 7) success with it.   2. I sent my typed manuscript to Scholastic Canada, and they liked it and purchased it for publication. It was as simple as that.   3. Most writers don’t require what you call “inspiration.” We write because we have something to say.  4. And I like all my books, and never play favorites. But I’m usually the most “into” the newer ones.

As for Skype, I’m on tour most of the Spring,  so I’m not sure we can work out a time.
