Hi, Dominick,

Thanks for posting. I’m pleased to hear that THE JUVIE THREE made such an impression on you. If you’re “into” the concept of second chances, I recommend RESTART, which is my current “big hit.”

Your questions: My ideas come from plain old hard work and a lot of thinking and plotting. No big mystery; it’s just work.  Most authors don’t require what you call “inspiration,” Dominick. We write because we have something to say, a story to tell. That’s just about all it takes to start us scribbling. I’ve already got 94 titles on my list, and there are more coming. Check THE BOOKS section of this website for the list. I honestly have no favorite among my books, but I admit I’m “into” the newer ones. So I guess the current “favorites” are RESTART and THE UNTEACHABLES. Why do I write? It’s the profession I chose, so I write because it’s my job, and I love it! OK? Thanks again, Dom.           —-Gordon Korman—-
