Thanks, both of you, for posting. I’m glad to hear that SCHOOLED made such a big hit with you. I hope you’ll both want to read your way right through my long list — 95 titles and more on the way.

Both of you asked why I wrote SCHOOLED. Most writers don’t really need what you call “inspiration.” We write because we have something to say, a story to tell. That’s just about all it takes to start us scribbling. In this case, I wanted to explore the adventures of a hippie kid, raised in isolation with his Grandmother, thrust into a modern Middle School. And why do I write? Because being an author is my chosen profession. I do it for a living.
