Wow, what if??? Several years back, there was a Star Trek spin-off called “Deep Space Nine” that had a shapeshifter just like that. He could be anything he wanted all day, assume human shape, and more if it suited him. But he couldn’t keep it up. He reverted to his liquid state at night and — and I’m not joking! — slept in a bucket!

I presume you’re kind of suggesting that I write about someone like that. I won’t say never, but right now it’s not my style. But thanks for the thought.                                        —–Gordon Korman—–
