Hi, Luke (or is it Wanye — Wayne?),

Whatever your name is, I REALLY like the title you’ve given me. I’ll certainly try to live up to it! Your question: the person who kept me writing was my Mom. That was back when I was still a school kid. Now I should explain that most writers don’t require that kind of inspiration. We write because we have something to say, a story to tell. Also, writing books is my chosen profession. I do it for a living.
