Hi, Logan,

NOTORIOUS, which has been out for all of 2 days, makes it 96 books. I never think that far ahead to #99 or #100, because I don’t want to take my concentration off the current project. I’m told 100 books is a VERY big deal. My publisher is planning a BIG party for #100. And I doubt very much that many people have reached 100, although I know that some have. It’s more common that a writer’s career will cover perhaps a dozen, maybe 20 titles. The author of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, Harper Lee, only wrote 2 in her lifetime. I’ve been writing for 44 years, ever since I was 12!

Thanks for posting. It was good to hear from you again.                          —–Gordon Korman—–
