Thanks for posting. That’s an interesting request. I think (and someone named Raymond Jardine will correct me if I’m wrong, I bet!) that there was one handicapped person, in the DIVE trilogy.  Her name was Star, and she had a bad leg and a serious limp. But when she was in the water. swimming and/or diving, the disability disappeared and she was free of any problems. But she’s the only one, I think.
