Hi! I hope this note finds you and your loved ones healthy! I’ve been reading your responses to the above requests, but I wanted to make it official! I teach ELA in Rochester, NY and my students have been very engaged during our read aloud of Restart. I ordered a class set of the books, and a couple of kiddos like to follow along on our Kindle. We’ve had some amazing, thought-provoking conversations about all of the characters and perspectives. Our schools have closed, and I know that students would love the routine of our read aloud…and of course to find out how the story ends! I’m hoping to be able to gather them together on Google Meet, but in order to reach the greatest number it is looking like it would be most effective to record our remaining chapters, with your approval, of course.  (BTW, my students will think it’s pretty cool that I was in touch with you!)
