Before I start taking, I just want to say that I’m a HUGE fan of the Masterminds series!

Anyways, I’m writing my first book right now. I think it’s good, and I want to share it to the world. I won’t lie. A part of me wants to publish it because of the fame, but the other part of me wants to publish it because I want someone to talk about it. The thing is, I feel more connected to the characters because it feels like I’m living with them somehow, and as I write more and more, eventually, I will have a house full of characters.

My question is this: Is it a common thing for authors to feel like the characters they made up are real? Or is it just me?
