Dear Mr.Gordon Korman, 

My name is Shaunice Boykin and right now I am really enjoying your book Restart. I live in New Haven CT and have a rabbit name Nyx. I live with just my mom and me. I and my grandma are close. I am writing this letter because I wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your book and ask you a few questions.

My first question is what inspired you to write this book? What motivated you to write in the first place? Why would you have a child jump off a roof? Why did chase have to get amnesia? 

This book read minds me of when I was a toddler and I was on the bed and I rolled off and hit my forehead. I still have a scar in the middle of my forehead. I don’t like it sometimes but I learn to deal with it. How does this book connect with your life?
