Hi, Ms. Redican & Students,

Thanks for posting. I’m pleased to hear that RESTART went over so well with the class. I hope you’ll all go on to read many more of the books on my long list. Just check out THE BOOKS section of this website, and take your pick.

A.S., I don’t know if I have anything to say about Aaron and Bear. And a regular sequel would definitely have something missing — like, a story! But PRESTART is genius! The brightest suggestion I’ve ever received! I may never get to it, but you’re SMART!!!

J.M., I don’t know if even falling off a roof would do much for Aaron and Bear. A lot of what’s missing with them, aside from compassion for others, is just plain brains.

K.C., it’s sort of there in the book, what Aaron and Bear think of the “new” Chase. They don’t understand him. On some level, they think he’s faking to avoid having to share the Medal of Honor proceeds with them. Sometimes people who aren’t very nice really can’t think on any level but their own.

OK? Thanks, people! I appreciate your comments.                         —–Gordon Korman—–
