Thanks for posting. I’m glad UNGIFTED made a hit with you., I hope you’ll read the sequel, SUPERGIFTED, and enjoy that one just as much. I’ll try to answer all your questions:

1) I honestly have no favorites among my books. But I’m usually the most “into” the more recent ones. So I guess the current “favorite” is my latest, UNPLUGGED. Laughs guaranteed!

2) I wrote 2 books with my Mom, and it was a lot of fun. And I worked on THE 39 CLUES with a group of other authors, but we each did our own books, so it wasn’t really collaboration. I actually prefer to work alone.

3) I started writing at age 12, in 7th grade, for an English assignment which turned into my first book, THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL. I’ve been writing ever since, and that was 42 years ago!

4) It’s about the same. I enjoy it. I also sometimes find it aggravating and frustrating! But I love my work, basically.

5) THE HITCHHILERS GUIDE TO THE GALAXY by Douglas Adams. Very strange, very funny.

6) I’ll keep on writing if you’ll keep on wanting to read what I write. Do we have a deal?

7) Actors and singers get recognized. Authors are a little more anonymous.
