I don’t know if you are thinking of writing a sequel to War Stories.  If Trevor were to make friends with somebody whose family was created in this way, that would give Trevor something to think about.  Many people, Trevor included, probably feel nothing good came about because of Hitler.  Yet, Trevor’s new friend never would have been born if weren’t for Hitler. They could become friends because they share an interest in World War II and video games.  His new friend could have a personality like a combination of Donovan Curtis and Noah Youkilis (e.g. Donovan’s impulsivity with intelligence and social awareness somewhere in between).  Trevor and his new friend could be the calm in each other’s storm.  This Donovan/Noah mix is able to make Trevor understand the differences between their family histories and who they are now and not to be obsessed by them. And Trevor can help his friend to have adventures, rather than misadventures.
