So, it’s always been a secret fantasy of mine that Gordon Korman would hire me to do research and marketing and, you know, general flunkey stuff. But that dream has died today because JADE clearly is better at every bit of that than I could ever hope to be.

Jade, when you’re old enough, make sure to read DON’T CARE HIGH. The whole school pulls together a research project that is off-the-charts insane with historical minutia and analysis and a working model… and I bet you’d be inspired!
