Definitely. At one point last winter I was hospitalized and after that, I almost finished a short mystery story that took place in a hospital. I could literally see, hear and even smell everything that my character was doing, hearing, seeing and smelling and maybe even at some point feel what my character was feeling, but I don’t really remember what was going through my head when I was writing the story. And sometimes when I’m bored or need something to think of, like during class or when I’m walking by myself or something like that, I’ll think of a scene and base it off of experiences or something I’ve seen. I’ve even based a character or two off from friends and siblings
