Good morning, Gordon!

I recently finished reading The Unteachables along with a group of 6th grade teachers who are considering it to start the year.  As you know, we have all been through some challenging times and a little humor might be just the thing.  I have also read your article in The Reading Teacher and found it helpful in terms of understanding you better as an author.  I am wondering (and hoping) that you might suggest some thoughts on how teachers could use or have used this book with their students.  For example, how might teachers introduce the book’s title?  I believe that your insights could be helpful as we work together to support our readers who will be coming through our doors from many different circumstances.  Your humor and cast of characters could be just the right elixir for this time.
