Hi — I didn’t know that you’re an admirer of poetry. There’s poetry and poetry, if you follow my meaning. My Mom and I wrote some comic doggerel poetry in 2 books years ago. Some pretty funny stuff, actually. But I think you mean real poetry, the kind where the writer expresses him/herself in such a way as to take your breath away and make you wonder how he/she can think in those terms. I’m fussy about that, in that I love Wordsworth and Byron amd loathe T.S. Eliot. Except for Prufrock. I can live with Prufrock.
