Hi, Jade,

I’m always happy when someone enjoys one of my books, especially a new release. But when the praise comes from someone important to me, well, that’s icing on the cake! I’m so happy that MIXED UP made such an impression on you! 

SPOILER ALERT  — you’re right. The book stands well on its own. We can now believe that the boys will grow up, remain close because of circumstances and also the fact that they like and respect one another. and even Declan will have a future of some kind.

Thank you, Jade. And thanks for piloting the Book Club. I know it’s hard to get kids together, especially in the middle of summer, and especially to read a hardcover!
