@Jade, you paint Yash (as viewed through Cleo’s eyes) in a nice light. And good call to mention the brownies, they definitely should seal the deal on liking this particular summer school.

Okay, Chapter 3 (Yash):

> Switching right back to Yash’s POV seems to reinforce that he’ll be the main protagonist.

> “A guy can wear himself out if he goes 100 percent, which I always do. It’s my trademark.” – I’m going to believe this is Yash in a nutshell.

> “‘You think anybody around here is as good as you?’ He frowns. ‘Except maybe—'”  Hey, Coach Basil, that’s a pretty rotten bomb to ALMOST drop on a kid who’s barred from joining your practices.

> We all need ride-or-die friends like Hammond and Amir. Hard not to compare Yash/Amir/Hammond with Chase/Aaron/Bear (Restart). Nice to see a more stable trio of buddies.

> I can’t stop imagining a young Johnny Lawrence (the guy you just love to hate in Karate Kid) when I read the description of Nitro Nate.
