Hi Gordon Korman,

You are one of my favourite authors of all time. I was so excited when I found this forum because I knew I had to reach out to you and just tell you how much I love your books. I read Masterminds around 2017 (The Turkish translation), and I was obsessed with the story. I even called the publishing house to ask when the rest of the series would come out. I remember when Payback was released, I skipped school to read it (no regrets!!). The discovery of that book series led to me reading anything written by you I could find, and that introduced me to some of the most amazing middle-grade books I have ever read (and I read A LOT).

Your books are endlessly fun, heartwarming and filled with amazing role models and examples of friendships, and although at sixteen I might be a bit older than your intended audience, I still enjoy your books so much! And I do think that good children’s stories are stories any age can enjoy and learn from, which is definitely the case for your books.

Overall, I just want to say a big, big thank you for creating those amazing stories that I spent hours reading. The fact that there are more than a hundred books you wrote makes me so happy because (especially with the new releases too!) I will never run out of books to read :))
