Way to go @Neel for finishing your first Gordon Korman book! You have another six or seven peak years when most of GRK’s characters are the same age as you—I hope you find yourself speed-reading to find out what happens in lots of the other stories.

Chapter 13 (Cleo) pushes us past the halfway point based on pages. Here’s what stood out to me:
> Cleo’s third entry makes her sound kind of bitter about Yash after HIS chapter 12 comments indicate a lot of respect for her athletic talents and acting chops. But she comes around during this chapter to give him some credit for being at least a benevolent dictator.
> I wrote that Yash was trying “to keep Arabella from spilling the beans” last night before reading Yash’s comment in this chapter that “Bella was going to spill the beans.”*
> You don’t have to be an investigative journalist to suspect Kaden’s knowledge of County Road 14 and the Forsberg school district boundaries is not a random factoid.
