Hi, Ivan,

I’m pleased to hear that RESTART went over so well with you. I hope you’ll go on to read more of my books.

Your questions: 1) I honestly have no favorite among my books. I do admit, though, that I’m especially proud of THE FORT, which was my 100th book. And my MASTERMINDS series was pretty special to me too.  2) Go to THE BOOKS section of this website and take your pick. There’s a lot to choose from.  3) Most authors don’t require what you call “inspiration,” Ivan. We write because we have something to say, or a story to tell. That’s just about all it takes to start us scribbling.  4) My favorite genre for reading and/or writing — humor.  5) And if you want a bookplate, you have to email your full name and mailing address and your request to my office,  [email protected]

Thanks again, Ivan. And if you think I had anything to do with your love of reading, then I’m more than happy!

                                               Regards,                                                —–Gordon Korman—–
