Chapter 20 (Wow!):

Leaf Man. Oh, goodness. I can’t believe Kimberly didn’t eat that up! What a shame, honestly. If I used my dad’s show polish on a rented tux, I would probably be grounded for years.

Kimberly was honestly hilarious to me. Like, what is she doing? Brendan has some really good ideas but the prank was terrible!

The “obliteration” was terrible! I was thinking so much about how much money is that going to cost?! Those instruments!? Oh goodness gracious. And Chase! He didn’t do it, please! Guys, believe him.

Kimberly was actually quite sweet in this chapter!

‘It’s so heartening to see Brendan’s first inclination is to trust that Chase is not part of the attack. And so gutting when he starts to doubt.” Just another reason that I love Brendan. He’s so forgiving. Many people don’t have that trait nowadays.

Also, the tuba! That was the only one! What the heck?
I couldn’t help but laugh at some of the parts of the prank, though. Taking myself out of it, and appreciating that this never actually happened, it was kind of funny how Aaron and Bear were like “hey bozos! Guess who’s back?” but it was so bad how they got Chase into it! Also, watching this from Brendan’s perspective was so intelligent. That was just a great choice in general. Couldn’t have been better!
