When school sportswriter Clarence “Chipmunk” Adelman finds out that the kids from his hometown of Mars finally get the chance to play in the Waterloo Slapshot League with a former NHL player for a coach, he knows he’s got a Cinderella story hot enough for Sports Illustrated.
