Thanks for your posting and your support for the Macdonald Hall series. I’m glad you’ve seen the movies too. A lot of the fans missed that. Did you manage to find all 7 books in the series and see all 3 films?

There probably won’t be any more. I wrote them such a long time ago that I don’t think I could get back into B&B mode any more! In the books, there was nothing more than friendship going on between the boys and the girls. But movie makers have to show a lot more than just a few words, so it did look like a boyfriend-girlfriend thing. I didn’t intend it that way at the time. If I were to write another couple of books, I might try to develop that, but only a little. As it existed, it wasn’t much in the way of romance anyway, right?

Thanks for your interest. The 50th anniversary of THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL is coming up in a couple of years, so there might be something done to mark that anniversary. You never know.
