Re: your request. Aidan, I’m sorry, but I’ve had to make it my policy not to read other people’s work. I get so many requests that I would wind up doing everyone’s work but my own. I hope you understand.

My advice would be to find someone you really, really trust — an aunt, grandparent, special teacher, sibling — and ask for an honest opinion of your work. Another possibility is to bundle up a collection of your short stories and actually send them with a covering letter to a publishing company. But perhaps you’d be wiser to get your honest opinion first.
