I’ve had to make it my policy not to read or critique other people’s work. I get too many requests and haven’t got the time. Plus I’m far from an expert on all styles and genres, so my opinion wouldn’t really be a fair one.

Congratulations to you on undertaking such a project. My own career started when I wrote my first book as an English project in 7th grade, so I know how much concentration and hard work it takes. Please find someone you trust — a favorite aunt, a favorite teacer, an older sibling — and ask for an honest opinion of your work. And good luck with your writing!
