Hi, T.F.,

Thanks for posting.I’m pleased to be able to include you as one of my fans. I hope you’ll want to read your way right through my long list. When July comes along,  my next book, SLEEPLESS, will come out making my list 108  titles long!

Your questions: I honestly don’t have a favorite among my books and characters. Having said that, I admit to being very proud of THE FORT, which was my Book #100. And I’m petty proud of the MASTERMINDS series too. How do I create the stories? With a lot of thinking and plotting. No big mystery, T.F.; it’s just work.

I’m pleased that you approve of my use of first-person narratives in a lot of my work. It’s a technique I enjoy using, mostly because it gives a more well-rounded texture to my story.

Re: SWAPPED. I think the next book of mine that you have to read is called MIXED UP. You have independently come upon something very close to that story. Let me know what you think after reading it, OK?

Thanks again, T.F.                                                                                      —–Gordon Korman—–
