I ran across the book “Go jump in the pool” as a kid and became an instant fan of Bruno and Boots and devoted reader of Gordon Korman. For whatever reason, the Bruno and Boots books were not easy to find in the states back then (or even now) so over the years I’ve managed to collect a few of them whenever I could. There are still a few I haven’t read! In the last several years I’ve been converting my book collections over to e-books…and I’ve been very disappointed to find that so few of the Bruno and Boots books are available in this format (though “McDonald Hall goes Hollywood” was one of them, so I finally got to read that one!). When will more titles be available? With the release of the movie, it would seem natural to have the book released in e-book form. Also, I will make a confession…one time I borrowed a book from my school library…and then pretended to “lose” it so I could keep it. It was one I had never seen before (ahh, the days before the Internet). I even asked the librarian if she could order a copy for me to buy, and she said she wasn’t allowed to do that. So…I paid the lost book fee and I still have the book, all these years later. It was “The war with Mr Wizzle.” I look forward to the day when I can read all of the B&B books! Thank you so much, Mr Korman!
