Hi, Tim,
Thanks for posting — I just happened to be checking e-mails when your message came in. I’m pleased to hear that a long-time fan of Rudy Miller has managed to pass along Rudy’s adventures at camp to the next generation. I’m also glad she liked it.
A lot of years ago, I had plans for a sequel. I even had what I considered a pretty good plot. (I was roughly 16 at the time, and my idea of “pretty good” might have been slightly off.) But there was little enthusiasm from the publisher and editors. And then I moved on. We’re now talking something more than 88 books ago! So it’s probably not going to happen. Sorry.
But thanks for the thought. And FYI, your taste in books is shared by a lot of people. I WANT TO GO HOME is the top-selling Canadian book of Scholastic Canada, the original publisher.
Best regards,
