Thanks for posting. I’m really pleased to hear that RESTART went over so well with your 7th graders. Agreed — it would make a terrific movie!
Actually, most authors don’t require what you call “inspiration.” We write because we have something to say, a story to tell. That’s just about all it takes to start us scribbling. But with RESTART, I was exploring second chances, and the possibility that people can change. I’m very happy to note that your 5 classes enjoyed the book. Thanks so much for taking the trouble to write and tell me so.
