My classes and I just finished reading Restart and I think it was a fantastic first read for the school year. The story was engaging and gave us a lot of exciting moments to share! You can imagine my teacher heart smiling when, right before the chapter with the showdown at Portland Street, one of my students shouts out “This is the best chapter in the whole book!” before the rest of us read it.
So, now that we are done, my kids have lots of questions. I thought maybe you could answer one of them? Did you consider having any other characters deliver the final chapter? Some of my students felt a little dissatisfied that it was Brendan and we were just curious if you had always intended it to be him or had tried out some other perspectives, too!
