** spoiler alert ** I liked this book WAYYYYYY more than I had anticipated. The story was just amazing (it reminds me of a mixture of The Giver, Divergent, and The Maze Runner), and the characters were just so likable. I don’t think that out of the five main characters, you could dislike any of them. I love Tori’s obvious crush on Eli, the way Amber and Malik always argue (I think that secretly, deep down, they actually like each other), and little Hector. The characters each have something special about them, that made it REALLY hard to choose a favorite.

Eli-The leader and great with technology
Tori-The youngest and artsy
Malik-Comes off as kind of jerk at first, but then you realize that he actually has a soft side
Amber-Control Freak and has a scary side
Hector-Humble and kind of a wimp
