Hi, Adrianna,
Thanks for posting.
So far, a few film companies have been interested in SCHOOLED, but no one has purchased it for development into a movie. But if we both keep a good thought, maybe something positive will happen, OK?
Advice on writing is simple: read a lot and write a lot. Those two activities help you develop a facility for the use of language. You’ll write your thoughts down more fluently, and chances are your work will read more smoothly too. And Rule #1 is this: NEVER put down a single word until your story is well-planned first. You can’t say anything properly unless you know exactly what you’re trying to say. And you can’t know that unless you PLAN. PLAN is the only 4-letter word you need to know!
Good luck if writing is what you’re planning to do.
