Dear Mr. Korman,
I am a 5/6 teacher with partial time in the school library in British Columbia. We are running a Battle of the Books in our district and are using Masterminds as one of the six books. Our students are loving it! It was one of the two most popular choices for students to start their reading with. Our students try to read all six of the books and then form teams for a Reach for the Top style (there is an older Canadian reference that some will hopefully get) competition. Last year, our first, we were lucky to get three writers (two who were Canadians are watched Reach for the Top) to video themselves reading a few of our questions and I used them during our matches. The kids were so thrilled to see their literary idols on the screen talking to them. If you would have any time (you seem extremely busy with writing and school visits right now- love the T-shirt idea on Twitter) we would be thrilled if you could participate in any way.
Thanks for all your work (like many, I grew up reading Bruno and Boots).
