Dear Mr. Korman,
I began reading your books when my parents gifted me the McDonald Hall 4-pack in the late 1980’s. I read those books until they literally fell apart and kept going. I recall when I was sick and home from school in middle school and my mom brought me a copy of Our Man Weston to cheer me up, which backfired as I couldn’t stop laughing, which was bad news when you have a persistent cough! At the time, I felt like the only kid in Ohio reading your books…
I am very gratified to see that the classics are being reissued on iBooks. I have already purchased all 3, and hope more will be coming including Weston and I Want To Go Home. I am glad to see other fans posting who have enjoyed the old classics as much as I did.
Now I am 40 years old and a lawyer but I still enjoy and think fondly of your books. (I have even been known to use “Gavin Gunhold” as my favorite pseudonym.) I look forward to reading and re-reading on my iPad. Thank you for many, many years of reading enjoyment!
