Thank you so much for writing to tell me that I’m the “Vedette” for April! I’m thrilled to hear it. I’m familiar with Lac Megantic, of course. I’m very much a Canadian, and followed your tragedy with sympathy several years ago. It’s wonderful to hear that your community is alive and vibrant once more.
I hope your students enjoy my books. You have definitely brightened my day, bien sur! Je suis ne a Montreal, et je parle francais, even though I’ve forgotten so much. You made no grammar mistakes, but I hope you will forgive mine!
