All my manuscripts are edited by professional editors who are assigned to my work by the company that publishes the books — I have a few publishers. And I have no idea how long it takes. I like to think my manuscripts are pretty clean when they’re handed in, so it shouldn’t take too long. But, of course, a busy publisher is working on more than one book at a time.        –GK–
