I became one quite by accident when my 7th grade English project turned into a book and Scholastic liked it enough to publish it as THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL. I’ve been writing ever since, and that was 40+ years ago. The job doesn’t require what you call inspiration,” Sophie. You just have to have something you want to say. That’s all it takes to start you scribbling. And if I could be one of my characters I would probably like to be Griffin, The Man with the Plan, from my SWINDLE series. He was a real mover and groover!
