Thanks for posting. Good question. 

I think Malik and Hector would slowly begin to become close again, and it might even be a better relationship than it was in Serenity when they were younger. Hector would be more of an equal, and I like to think Malik would be a milder person. Of course, Malik would be seeing a lot of Amber — I think you’ll agree on that one, right?  So the Hector/Malik relationship would be there, but I like to think they’d be more as equals instead of Malik always bossing the younger one around. They’d be older and wiser.
