Your question: My ideas for stories come from plain old thinking and plotting. No big mystery; it’s just work. And I understand what you said about boredom. It can be absolutely awful! I wasn’t in hospital, but I still know what it is to be bored, like on long plane trips! So I hope we can both keep life interesting, OK?
