Dear Mr. Korman,
I recently finished Restart. It was one of my favorite books of all time. I loved how you did not end the book when Chase returned the medal. Sometimes during the book I was laughing out loud; I loved the humor you included in the book. I really appreciated how you had a balance of humor and seriousness. I will always remember when everyone in the court stood up for Chase in the stadium. I have also read Faker and enjoyed how you gave me a window into something I wouldn’t have thought of otherwise. I love how you add multiple climaxes to your books and how you really know how to hook us as readers.
I learned many life lessons thanks to your book. I loved how you emphasized the theme anything is possible. It really boosted my self confidence. Personally I thought that chapter 29 should have been the ending to Restart, but I liked how you added Brendan’s chapter to wrap things up.
I have a few questions for you:
1. How do you know what to write; what inspires you?
2. Is there a specific reason you wrote Restart; what inspired you to do so?
3. Can you write a sequel to Restart? I really loved the book, but I didn’t want it to end.
Sincerely, Naomi
