Hi, Mrs.Daftari,

I thought I’d better say hi, and thank you for so much support for my work!

The kids have overwhelmed me, mostly by multiple postings and quadruplications, and I’m going to have to stop answering — with regrets. I thrive on their praise and enthusiasm, and I really do appreciate their exuberance, but it’s too much to deal with and also make my deadlines and personal appearances without delays. I hope one day to visit your classroom in person and meet these great people. Their questions were amazingly bright, and their commentary will always remind me of who my audience is.

Please let them know how much I appreciate their letters and postings. And tell them that if I’ve done even a little thing to turn them on to reading, then it’s my reward on this Earth!

And thank you, Mrs. D., for reminding me that teachers who really care are still out there!

                                                      Kindest regards,                                            —–Gordon Korman—–
