Chapter 1: Hypergraduate (Donovan Curtis)

The story jumps right into the universe of the “Gifted” series—we see Heavy Metal and several of the Academy for Scholastic Distinction students as they’re graduating middle school. We get to see Noah’s mini-meltdown from the perspective of less-than-genius Donovan. And we’re immediately drawn into a new situation for Noah and Donovan as they find out they’re going to college. To college?!?

I recently reread UNGIFTED and SUPERGIFTED to get back into the “Gifted” mindset. So it’s no surprise to see HYPERGIFTED is written in multiple-POV. Like the other books, we’ll see this story from a lot of vantage points. The cover nicely matches the first two books in the series. Makes me wonder: How will a robot feature in this story?
