That’s a tough one! I’ve written 107 books, and all the characters are “friends” of mine. But I think I’d have to pick Rootbeer Racinette (which translates to “Rootbeer Rootbeer”) from LOSING JOE’S PLACE, a Y/A that I wrote many years ago. There was just something endearing about him that I still find irresistible.
