Artie’s character was strictly fictional — you have to remember that I was about 16 when I wrote that book. Please don’t look for intricate characterizations, because you won’t find any! I saw him as an entrepreneur from birth. I tried to give the impression that even his Mom was worried about what he might get up to on the trip.

As for rating the book NO COINS, PLEASE, ask my readers, who rated it pretty highly! I thought it was a masterpiece. Of course, I was a kid, and thought every word I put down was pure gold! You live and you learn!
