Thanks for posting. I hope MASTERMINDS is going over well with you and the class.

During the writing — and I planned the whole trilogy before starting the actual writing — I always meant Amber and Malik to be together. Just from their bickering and one-upmanship I thought it was clear that they were going to be a couple. And I planned the Malik-Hector relatioship to be a big brother vs kid brother type of thing. But never underestimate the power of the reader!
