Thanks forposting. I’m glad you enjoy my books, and that RESTART went over so well with you.

I have no trouble seeing my characters as I’m writing. For example, I can see a dark, tall, slender Shoshanna pouring froyo on Chase’s blonde head. I guess I may be taking it for granted that my readers can see them too. e.g. you know Aaron and Bear are a couple of crew-cut big guys, right? Hector is short and dark. And my athletes are big guys, muscular — although the wide receivers are tall and rangy. Eye color? I usually ignore eye color. Ouch.

ANYWAY — I will try to do better. Although I always skipped over those parts in the books I read when I was a middle grader …
